Vision

Who powers TheTrustChain?

TheTrustChain is an ING funded innovation project which is directly supervised by ING Group Innovation Council headed by several ING Board Members and the ING Global Head of Innovation.

TheTrustChain team is composed of technology experts and artificial intelligence doctors from the Catholic University of Leuven. Our executive sponsor is Johan Kestens (CIO ING Belgium) and our Business Strategy Advisor is Fabian Vandenreydt

Partnerships: TheTrustChain is partnering with market leading companies like Fingerprints.com for the provision of state-of-the-art biometrical solutions and devices.

How does
it work?

1. Zero knowledge protocol.

Our TheTrustChain engine is based on a zero knowledge protocol.

2. Multiple suppliers

In this protocol we have multiple suppliers that process information on identities and/or entitlements however the suppliers do not know each other.

3. Identity and entitlements are assessed.

Each party is equally untrusted and this implicates that in every transaction the identity and entitlements are assessed.

4. Secure by design architecture.

The secure digital store never transfers data, only results. This all is done in a secure by design architecture.
